Kun få måneder efter introduktionen af den meget vellykkede Soundcraft Vi6™ er Vi-serien af digitale live sound-konsoller blevet udvidet med den nye Soundcraft Vi4-model, som tilbyder alle funktionaliteter og faciliteter fra Soundcraft Vi6, men i en mindre, mere kompakt udformning, der er bedre egnet til pladsbesparende applikationer som teatre, gudshuse og lokaler eller klubber med begrænsede mixerpladser.
På under 1,5 m giver Soundcraft Vi4 adgang til 96 indgange på 24 fadere, med i alt 35 output-busser til rådighed som masters, groups, auxes eller matrices. Alle andre funktioner fra Soundcraft Vi6, såsom det højt vurderede Vistonics™ II touchscreen-brugergrænseflade, Soundcraft FaderGlow™ fader-funktionsdisplay og den uovertruffen lydkvalitet, er arvet af Soundcraft Vi4.

- Maksimalt antal samtidige miksningskanaler
96 mono-indgange til 35 udgange. Par af mono-indgange kan knyttes sammen for at skabe stereokanaler. - Insert-punkter
24 insert send/return-par kan konfigureres (ved hjælp af tilgængelig I/O) og tildeles til enhver af de 96 indgange eller 35 udgangkanaler. - Direkte udgange

- Maksimal afstand, lokalt rack til stagebox: 100 m ved brug af Soundcraft-godkendt fleksibelt oprulet Cat5-kabel, 130 m muligt ved brug af Cat7 permanent installationskabel.
- GPIO-facilitet: Der er 16 GPIO-kontaktklosure-indgange og -udgange på det lokale rack og 8 indgange og udgange på stageboxen.
- MIDI: Der er 1 MIDI In og 2 MIDI Outs på bagsiden af kontrolfladen.
