Dwight School Hanoi, a premier international school located in The Manor Central Park in Hanoi, Vietnam, sought to transform its impressive 35,000 m² campus into a technologically advanced learning environment. As part of a global network of Dwight Schools, the Hanoi campus needed an audiovisual infrastructure that could support innovative teaching methods, streamlined control, and seamless communication across classrooms, meeting rooms, and recreational spaces. The challenge was to implement a reliable, user-friendly system that could scale across a wide variety of educational and extracurricular settings, from academic instruction to sporting events.
Dwight School Hanoi partnered with AV Plus Joint Stock Company and HARMAN Professional Solutions to install a comprehensive AV system powered by AMX and Soundcraft to meet these needs.
Each classroom and functional room are now equipped with the AMX MCP-108 ControlPad, a compact, wall-mounted device with tactile buttons and a rotary knob, allowing teachers to control AV equipment with ease and confidence. To support multimedia instruction, the AMX Precis PR-0402 HDMI Matrix Switcher enables seamless switching of high-resolution 4K content between devices, creating a smooth and engaging presentation experience.
In the school’s meeting rooms, the AMX Modero G5 touch panel pairs with the AMX NX-1200 controller to provide an intuitive interface and secure automation. Supporting advanced video formats such as HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, the setup ensures that video quality is crystal-clear, making it ideal for international presentations and faculty collaboration.
For large and acoustically complex spaces, like the swimming pool and sports courts, the system features array loudspeakers managed by the Soundcraft Si Expression 3 digital mixer. The DSP capabilities of the console eliminate echo and background noise, providing clean and intelligible audio even in noisy environments. Visual content in these areas is easily distributed via AMX HDMI switchers and ControlPads, enabling high-impact AV for events and school activities.
At the heart of the installation is a centralized control room, outfitted with an AMX MT-1002 Touch Panel and an AMX NX-3200 controller, giving administrators full oversight of campus-wide devices. This centralized approach ensures synchronized system performance, secure access, and simplified management across the entire facility.
The implementation of HARMAN Professional’s solutions has transformed Dwight School Hanoi into a modern, connected learning environment. Teachers now have immediate, intuitive control over classroom technology, while students benefit from more dynamic and engaging instruction. Whether in the classroom, meeting space, or sports courts, the system provides reliable performance, sharp visuals, and clear audio that enhance educational delivery and day-to-day campus operations.
Feedback from both faculty and technical staff has been overwhelmingly positive. The school’s AV System Operator praised the ease of use and performance improvements, noting a significant enhancement in the overall teaching and learning experience. AV Plus’s use of Soundcraft’s advanced DSP and AMX’s intuitive interfaces has ensured that even the most challenging environments are now equipped for seamless communication.
