SOUNDCRAFT MH3 FOR SWR IN GERMANY

--SudWestRundfunk in Tübingen has purchased a 40-input Soundcraft MH3 console for mobile sound recordings and transmissions. SWR commissioned the console from Soundworkshop in Stuttgart, a custom configuration featuring an extended matrix (12x8) and eight stereo channels.

The MH3 made its debut for SWR in Ravensburg at the Oberschwabenschau — the traditional fair held annually for the region of upper Swabia, Bodensee and Allgaeu. Norbert Kohlen, SWR's technical supervisor for the event, praised the clear control surface and the extremely effective filters on the MH3.

"In my opinion, the Soundcraft MH3 is unbeatable for its price/performance ratio. Investments of this kind must always justify themselves to us on a long-term basis, and the MH3, with its audio quality and logical control surface, promises to be a long-lasting phenomenon. Also, I was impressed by the solid processing, which will safely handle the requirements of everyday life in our mobile applications."
