--The Mix Foundation for Excellence in Audio has announced the nominees for the 20th Annual Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards, honoring outstanding technical and creative achievement in professional audio production and product design. The awards ceremony will be held Saturday evening, October 30, 2004, at the Marriott Hotel in San Francisco.

Nominations in 23 categories comprising 16 areas of Technical Achievement in product design and seven categories of Creative Achievement in audio production and studio design were made by a select panel of more than 100 audio industry professionals who reviewed the products and projects released or completed during the eligibility period of March 31, 2003, to April 1, 2004. The winners will be chosen by ballot, included in the September issue of Mix magazine, and mailed to 44,000 BPA-qualified subscribers.

"Each of the 2004 TEC Awards nominees are true stand-outs, and we're privileged to have the opportunity to recognize their contributions."
